BizKit Pro ("we", "us", "our") is an Australian software product. Our contact details are available at our contact page.

2. What data we collect

Data stored on your device (we never see this)

BizKit Pro is an offline-first web application. All of the following is stored exclusively in your browser's localStorage — it never leaves your device unless you choose to export it:

• Business name, ABN, contact details and brand settings
• Client names, contact information and notes
• Invoice and quote content, line items and amounts
• Email templates and signatures
• Project briefs and style guide entries
• Your licence key and plan status

Data handled by Gumroad (payment processor)

When you purchase a subscription, Gumroad processes your payment and issues a licence key. We receive only your licence key and plan level (Starter or Pro) during verification. Gumroad's privacy policy governs how they handle your payment details.

Data collected automatically

Our website (bizkitpro.com.au) may collect standard web server logs including IP address, browser type, referring URL and page visited. This is used only for uptime monitoring and security. We do not use tracking cookies or third-party analytics.

3. How we use your data

We use licence verification data solely to confirm your subscription is active. We do not sell, rent or share your data with any third party for marketing purposes.

4. Data storage and security

All business data is stored locally on your device using the Web Storage API. You are responsible for the security of your device. We strongly recommend:

• Keeping your browser and operating system up to date
• Using a screen lock or device password
• Regularly exporting important documents as PDFs

If you clear your browser's site data or use a private/incognito window, your BizKit Pro data will be lost. We cannot recover it.

5. Cookies

BizKit Pro uses no tracking or advertising cookies. Our Netlify-hosted serverless functions may use session-level cookies for security purposes only.

6. Third-party services

• Gumroad — payment processing and licence management. Gumroad Privacy Policy
• Netlify — website hosting. Netlify Privacy Policy
• Google Fonts — font delivery. Google may log the font request.

7. Your rights (Australian Privacy Act)

Under the Australian Privacy Act 1988, you have the right to:

• Access any personal information we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate information
• Complain about a breach of the Australian Privacy Principles

Because we do not store your business data on any server, access requests typically relate only to Gumroad purchase records. Contact us at our contact page to make a request.

8. Data retention

Your business data persists in your browser until you clear it. Gumroad purchase records are retained in accordance with Gumroad's data retention policy and applicable Australian tax law requirements.

9. Children

BizKit Pro is not directed at children under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Significant changes will be noted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of BizKit Pro after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
